Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis is a national walk dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.  The 2011 walk in San Jose in Discovery Meadow on May 21 marked the second year that one of our patients was the local honored hero.  Read his story here!

In 2010 a thought-provoking ad campaign was launched through Hep B Free and 50 organizations to increase public awareness of hepatitis B in the Asian American community.  1 in 10 Asian Americans is chronically affected, but many affected persons are not aware they have the liver condition, and it can be passed from mother to child.  Dr. Nguyen was one of 10 Asian American doctors participating in the media campaign.
